The
villa is situated in the north of Corfu, in Almiros, only
2km from the centre of cosmopolitan and tourist Acharavi.
In the centre of Acharavi you can find plenty of shops, restaurants,
a big supermarket, cafes, bars and some of the most famous
beach bars of the island. Very close to Villa Melenia (150m)
there is a mini – market which would cater for all your
needs in case you do not want to go to Acharavi.
Spreading in front of the villa is the
7km sandy beach of Almiros awarded with the Blue Flag by
the E.U.. On the beach you can visit traditional taverns
with fresh fish and home-made food including Greek and Corfiot
specialities.
The traditional village of Perithia
is found 5km from Almiros and Villa Melenia with magnificent
examples of local architecture and 10km from the villa one
can visit the village of Episkepsi, one of the oldest and
most picturesque villages of the island.

Villa Melenia can provide accommodation
for up to 10
people. The main part of the villa consists of a maisonette
of 120sqm which can host from 2-6
people with 3 bedrooms, a large living room, a big
fully-equipped kitchen, 2 balconies with panoramic view, 2
bathrooms and 1 WC.
If your party is from 6-10 people there is another
independent apartment available of 70sqm which is on
the ground floor and can accommodate up to 4
people.
This apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, a big living-room, a
fully-equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom and its own veranda with
a beautiful view near the swimming-pool.
Other facilities include air-conditioning,
satellite TV, DVD Player, CD Player, direct dial telephone,
microwave oven, washing machine, fridge-freezer and hair –
drier.
The grounds of the villa were designed to offer you every
possible comfort owing your holidays. Apart from the private
swimming – pool of 60sqm there is also a Jacuzzi to
give you moments of relaxations and rejuvenation.
Moreover, Villa Melenia provides a barbeque area in case you
enjoy having a meal outside. Finally, there is a playground
for younger visitors who can play and enjoy themselves.
Cleaning is provided 3 times a week
and change of sheets and towels twice a week or more after
making an arrangement. |
